"The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Science in Art" Lecture — The Second Life of Artworks

"The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Science in Art" exhibition is now on display at Tamar Park and the Central and Western District Promenade (Central Section). The exhibition will run from now until mid-December this year. Physical artworks are often limited by the duration of the exhibition and may not have the chance to be seen again by a large number of visitors after the exhibition period. Those who cannot visit the exhibition in person during the period will also miss the opportunity to appreciate the artworks. In this talk, Victor Wong, the cross disciplinary artist who created three large-scale art installations for "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Science in Art" exhibition will share how technology can be used to give artworks a second life, allowing them to be displayed in another form for the public to see, thus extending the limited duration of physical exhibitions.

Time: 4.9.2022 (Sun) | 15:30 – 16:30
Speaker: Victor Wong (Cross Disciplinary Artist)

*The programme is conducted in Cantonese. All the content of works are independently produced by the organiser/creative team, and do not reflect the views or opinions of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series nor the Sponsor.
