QK X Flower Show 2025
Hong Kong Flower Show (HKFS) is an annual event organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, which showcases a stunning array of flowers, plants and landscape designs. This year, "Ablaze with Glory" and Cosmos are the theme and theme flower of the HKFS respectively. During the show period, the Science Promotion Unit will organise two booth activities, including "QK POST Roadshow" and "Herbarium Pen Workshop", for the public to learn about the interesting science of flowers.
Flowers do more than adorn the world with their vibrant colours, they also hold fascinating scientific secrets. At the Hong Kong Flower Show 2025, the Science Promotion Unit presents a special edition of the QK POST Roadshow dedicated to flowers. Join us to uncover the hidden secrets behind their delightful scents, brilliant colours, and ingenious reproductive strategies.

Make your own unique herbarium pen by filling the pen barrel with dried flowers and special mineral oil! This workshop introduces flower preservation methods, allowing participants to explore the fusion of science and floral art while creating stationery that is both practical and beautiful!
