What makes ice cream so irresistible? Apart from its sweet taste, it’s likely due to its soft and smooth texture. Ice cream will take the spotlight in QK Kitchen this time. We will demystify the process of ice cream production. By making ice cream from scratch, we will understand how factors such as air, condensation and crystallisation affect its texture, as well as the scientific principles behind using ice and salt as cooling agents. By manipulating these factors, you will be able to create your ice cream with your own signature texture!
