Popular Science Reading Workshop – A Comprehensive Guide to Local Marine Fish

Hong Kong residents can buy a variety of fresh fish at fish markets and wet markets. How much do you know about the local fish species? Are you aware of their stories or do you know how to handle them?

In this workshop, Mr. Keith Lai, a fish specialist, will be joining us to introduce his book “Hong Kong Market Sea Fish”. Participants will have the opportunity to handle fresh chilled fish, and learn about fish anatomy and characteristics through demonstrations and guidance from the speaker.

4:15 pm – 6:15 pm (Session 2)
(Same content for both sessions)

Suitable for: Students aged 9-15, each student must be accompanied by an adult (Age is calculated as at the date of the programme)

4. For food safety reasons, we do not recommend consuming or taking away any fish handled during the workshop.
